Country Villa Assisted Living was designed by long-time Freedom resident, Chad Reader, and his associate, Mark Hartzheim, based on a need for a local, rural and community-centered approach to assisted living.
Country Villa Assisted Living was specifically designed and built for people who love and value the rural lifestyle. Residents are able to remain or return to their rural roots here at Country Villa Assisted Living. Many of our residents were either born, raised, or worked on Farms in Freedom and the surrounding areas. Our kitchen is the heart of the house where home cooked meals and desserts are served every day!
Country Villa Assisted Living borders a 12-acre planned park, featuring scenic walking trails that connect to the local community in order to keep you a part of the place you call home.

My nursing career started in 2000.
I started during high school as a CNA in a local long term care facility.
I later went onto school for nursing.
Caring for the elderly is my passion.
I have 2 teenage boys.
We enjoy camping, UTV rides, kayaking and really anything outdoors.
I am excited to bring my CBRF knowledge to Country Villa and be a part of the Country Villa philosophy to provide our residents with compassionate care.

Country Villa Assisted Living amenities include private apartments with a private bathroom and individual heating and cooling controls.
We encourage you to make your room as comfortable and home like as you want.
Our support staff takes care of cleaning, laundry and other housekeeping chores that grow more difficult with age.
Respite rooms are available for short-term stays.
This is a great idea if you are a caregiver going on vacation or simply in need of a break.
We will provide the best possible care at all times and allow you to relax.
We encourage you to make your room as comfortable and home like as you want.

We will temporarily admit them for 1-3 weeks for a flat daily rate.
The rate includes all amenities listed above, along with any personal care services and medication management (based on availability).
