Initially constructed in 1923, the "Pine Edge" is a well-known meeting place in central Minnesota.
The Pine Edge (formerly the Pine Edge Inn) is located one block south of downtown Little Falls, a town of 8,300 situated in the very center of Minnesota.
At the turn of the century in 1900, the town was the home of the Pine Tree Lumber Company, which evolved into the company known today as Weyerhauser.
Initially constructed in 1923, the "Pine Edge" is a well-known meeting place in central Minnesota.

A plaque recognizing the builders of the Pine Edge is located at the entrance of the building.
The two-story structure with brick exterior faces Little Falls First Street to the east, and provides spectacular views of the Mississippi River and Maple Island Park in the west.
In 1927, seventeen rooms were added and, for a short while, the hotel was known as the Malcolm.
A plaque recognizing the builders of the Pine Edge is located at the entrance of the building.

If traveling north from Royalton on Highway 10, take the first Little Falls exit as you approach the city.
Stay on this road (County Road 76) until you reach the downtown area.
Look for the large brick building with pillars and flags out front.
If you are traveling south on Highway 371 from Brainerd, take the first Little Falls exit and stay on County Road 76 until it reaches the downtown area.
Go straight through two stop lights and you will see the Pine Edge on your right.
If you are traveling east or west on Highway 27 from either Long Prairie or Pierz, stay on the highway until you reach downtown Little Falls.
