We are a special people who have a heart-felt love for helping seniors enjoy a happy and healthy lifestyle in a supportive environment focused on socialization, good food, good health, safety, and independence. We are a small, independently owned and operated senior care community, dedicated to providing the most excellent services and accommodations to our neighbors in the Huntersville and Lake Norman area.

We proudly take our name from the Ranson family whose great-great grandfather, Dr. Alexander Ranson, purchased 160 acres of Huntersville land and started the Huntersville Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in 1874. We celebrate our Huntersville hometown heritage! Joe and Linda Ranson reside on Ranson Road and are our special guests at many of our functions.

Ranson Ridge Assisted Living and Memory Care is conveniently located near rural Ranson Road between Exit 23 and Exit 25 off I-77. St Mark Catholic Church and Torrence Chapel Elementary School are located just blocks away. Our sister community, Olde Knox Commons Rehab and Nursing Center, is located next door.
Services
Our residents don't have to go out of the building to get excellent medical care.
In addition to our Medical Director, Dr. John Gambino, we have a dedicated MD, a Physician Assistant and Nurse Practitioner who attend to our residents on a regular basis.
On a daily basis, we have one full-time RN and two LPNs that cover 7 days a week.
Certified Nursing Assistants work under their direction 24/7.
And our owner, Mrs. Howard, is an RN.
That is an amazing team!
We will be happy to schedule your personal tour of our community.
While you may simply drop in for information at anytime, we highly recommend scheduling a specific date and time to ensure that Cathy will be available to give you the most complete information, including pricing.
Cathy is a Certified Senior Advisor and is our residency expert.
She will work with you to determine if Ranson Ridge is the best match for your senior living options.
We are conveniently located near St. Mark Catholic Church off Stumptown and Ranson Roads in Huntersville.
2. What do the apartments look like?
All of the units at Ranson Ridge are studio-style.
They are very spacious with enough room for a sleeping area and also a living area.
We have 5 beautiful community living rooms, all located within steps of each unit.
All units, including our memory care, have their own beautifully appointed bathrooms that include large easy-access tiled showers.
3. Can I cook in my apartment?
No. Assisted living communities generally do not offer true kitchens.
You may bring a refrigerator and a microwave if you like.
If you have a true love for caring for seniors, are a team player, have a positive attitude, are dependable and have an excellent work record, we may have a place on our team for you!
