Victorian House
Since 1991, Castle Country Assisted Living, a 501(c)3 non-profit, has offered assisted living and services to the valued elder citizens of Douglas County. With three homes spread across Castle Rock and Parker, CCAL supports seniors in continuing their independent lifestyle, while providing expert care in a family, home-like setting. Castle Country Assisted Living has been named "Best of the Best" four times by the well-known Assisted Living Federation of America, a nationally-recognized senior living organization.

Castle Country was one of only 15 senior communities nationwide selected for this honor, and the only Colorado community to ever receive this prestigious national award. As a 501(c)3 non-profit, and the first of its kind in Douglas Country, Castle Country is in a class all of its own. We are able to provide Douglas County with low-cost assisted living, while maintaining the high of care standards found at larger organizations.

As a private non-profit, our primary concern is the well-being and fulfillment of our residents, rather than increasing profits for shareholders or owners.

At Castle Country Assisted Living, we firmly believe in the importance of individuality.
Our "Person-Centered Care" philosophy centers on the principle that all of our residents deserve to have their needs and desires met.
We're dedicated to service excellence in every area, including our comprehensive wellness programs, nutritious meals and stimulating social activities.
We're continually striving to improve the quality of life for our residents.
While each of our homes have their own unique personalities, every community includes a variety of indoor and outdoor comforts and amenities where our residents can gather for friendship and conversation.
Castle Country's original residence, Cantril House, is in the heart of historic Castle Rock.
Just two blocks from downtown, Cantril House is close to the restaurants, shops, and other attractions that make Castle Rock a wonderful place to live.
This quaint, historic home was built in the early 1900s and is now home to 16 individuals.
The Cantril community offers support to our residents with daily activities, like crafts and games, as well as life-enrichment opportunities and social gatherings.
Seated next door to Memmen Ridge, a beautiful open space area, Valley House can be called home by 23 seniors.
Located in a quiet neighborhood, perfect for those who love tranquility, the house is just a few miles from downtown Castle Rock.
Here, our residents enjoy daily activities and events, including concerts, theatrical shows and planned art projects.
The community also provides the social offerings only a unique and special home like Valley House can, including game nights and regular club meetings.
Before you leave, please check with the QMAP (Qualified Medication Administration Professional) on-duty to receive any medications the resident will need to take with them.
Also, please sign the resident out on our Sign Out sheet.
Have a fun trip!
Our facility is unlocked at 6:00 a.m. and locks again at 10:00 p.m.
The only reason we would discourage family members/friends from visiting is an outbreak (influenza, norovirus, etc) in our facility or if you have an illness that could spread to our residents.
