Located in Tabor City, NC the town is known as the "Yam Capital of the World".
Tabor City, NC borders the state line and you can be in Loris, SC within a 5 minute drive. We are about 1 hour from Wilmington and less than an hour from North Myrtle Beach. We have 2 hospitals with within 25 miles of our community. Tabor City has a coastal vibe, while being tucked away nicely in-shore to miss the brunt of coastal winds and storms.

Our meals are prepared fresh, on-site, three times daily and served by our caring and dedicated dietary personnel.
The menu used by our Tabor Commons community is designed by a registered dietician and includes a well-balanced diet.
We also prepare alternatives and follow therapeutic diets for residents with special dietary preferences or needs.
Monthly, we let our residents plan some of our menus during our resident council.
Our meals are prepared fresh, on-site, three times daily and served by our caring and dedicated dietary personnel.

We strive to keep our resident council resident led so that all members of Tabor Commons can have their voices heard.
