It was quite the celebration here today!
Cake, ice cream and gifts and to top the whole thing off Mr. Sherwood received a proclamation from Senator Samra Brouk for outstanding citizenship and service to our country.
Mr. Sherwood is our oldest resident and veteran.
Tomorrow, Jim will be 101 years old!
We started his birthday celebration today with a brunch for all our veterans in his honor.
I had a lovely chat with Mr. Sherwood and his daughter, to find out if maybe we had a distant relation!
