Chehalis West Assisted Living, founded by William (Bill) and Ella Hammond, opened its doors in 1985.
Bill, having been in the health care industry for a number of years in various capacities, desired to open a care facility that provides personal care services for seniors who need assistance, social support, and a safe environment in which to live.
Chehalis West was the first licensed assisted living facility to open in this area.
Bill, who now has over 35 years experience in the health care industry, is very involved in the day to day operations of Chehalis West.
