Camellia Place

The staff at Camellia Place are so friendly and welcoming. I wish they had been around when my granddad was suffering with Alzheimer’s. I think they would’ve made his time much better.

Camellia Place has been a true blessing for our family. We moved my grandmother last year and she's loving it. The activities, experiences, staff, and family atmosphere are undoubtedly top-notch, and don't get me started on the delicious food options! Everything about Camellia is fantastic!

When our family realized that our mom could not live in her home safely anymore, we started looking for the right place for her. We looked at several places all of which were nice, but none seemed to ‘fit’ mom. We were looking for a certain spark in her eye and it wasn’t happening until we discovered Camellia Place. It’s been a little over a year and a half now that mom has lived there and the Blalock family would like to extend a very warm and heartfelt thank you to Camellia Place for becoming that special place for mom at this time of her life. The level of care from the front office to the caregivers in her home is unsurpassed. We so appreciate the communication that we as family members have with the administration there at all times. The warm and welcome feeling whenever we walk in the door is truly genuine and mom has made some wonderful friends all through the helping hands of those who work at Camellia Place. If you are looking for a caring environment for your loved one, please visit Camellia Place. The houses and grounds are beautiful and clean, the food is very good and most of all, the staff is involved, kind and caring. My mom was in two other facilities prior to Camellia, and this is the best by far. We are very thankful.

Best care around! Staff and caregivers are great!

The sales and administrative staff have been so helpful and kind to me and my sister with helping to get our Mother situated into Camellia Place. This was no easy task, as our Mother was very angry with us for taking her away from her home. The staff has worked miracles with our Mother and she is doing very well. They have kept us informed on how well she is doing and have helped us with our guilt, making it much easier for us to realize the importance of having her in a controlled environment. The cottages are bright and clean and everyone seems so well adjusted and friendly. We couldn't have picked a better place for our beloved Mother.

The wonderful staff at Camellia Place took excellent care of Dad during his stay! The staff was always smiling and encouraging. The food very good. The whole place spotless. And the physical therapy he received during his rehab after repairing a hip fracture was top notch. At Camellia Place, there truly is a different feel from many/most other assisted living facilities. There is a comfortable, relaxed and happy vibe throughout. Almost like being on vacation! If you have a loved one who needs this special care, I would whole heartedly recommend looking into Camellia Place!

I was so impressed when I visited Camellia Place because of how different it is from any other community I had been to! It felt so much like a home and the staff is clearly following passion, not just working a job. It is evident that the residents feel more than cared for, they feel special.
